Marco Silvestri has posted a heartwarming video on Twitter after Leeds’ final home game of the season.

The Leeds number one goalkeeper was taking part in a lap of honour with his fellow teammates as the players saluted Elland Road for their support after the 2-1 defeat to Charlton ended the club’s home campaign.

Silvestri, 25, pitch-side offered a glimpse into the celebrations with the fans and the Italian used one word to sum up the day: “Emotion.”

The video shows Silvestri holding his daughter while encouraging Mirco Antenucci’s little one to get involved in the singing.

Leeds still have on more game to play with a visit to Preston next Saturday.

In other Leeds news, Evans has given an indication of his future in an emotional speech to the home fans.
