Football Insider rates the Leeds players from their 2-0 defeat against Cardiff at Elland Road on Saturday.
Rob Green 7 – Commanded his area and made some fine saves. Could do little about either goal.
Luke Ayling 5 – Is the season catching up with this previous bastion of consistency? For the second consecutive weekend, he made unforced errors and struggled to deal with his opponent.
Kyle Bartley 7 – Refused to let his standards slipped as he cajoled, commanded and hectored. Sadly, his teammates could not offer the same authority.
Liam Cooper 6 – Brushed off his late call-up after Pontus Jansson pulled out with an illness to deliver a reasonable play but the mighty Swede was sorely missed.
Gaetano Berardi 5 – Scrapped and hustled but his distribution was wonky and got caught out by some of Cardiff’s counter-attacks.
Liam Bridcutt 5 – Not an afternoon to remember fondly. Sent off late on for two bookings as he symptomised the growing disciplinary issues in his team.
Ronaldo Vieira 6 – Once again preferred to Eunan O’Kane and once again showed why. Provided energy, physicality and composure before fading and being withdrawn as his team chased late goals.
Alfonso Pedraza 6 – Showed his opponent a clean pair of heels on a few occasions as he demonstrated his extreme pace but his use of the ball and decision-making was disappointing. Nevertheless, there were encouraging signs of better things to come.
Pablo Hernandez 7 – Began superbly as he conducted the orchestra and initially hit all the high notes. But faded as the first half progressed and struggled to influence the game in the second period.
Stuart Dallas 5 – His crossing and passing radar appeared to have been left at home. It was a mercy when he was withdrawn at the hour mark.
Chris Wood 7 – Looked fresh, lively and sharp as he led the line impressively but unable to continue his golden scoring run.
Hadi Sacko (On for Dallas, 60 mins) 7
Kemar Roofe (On for Pedraza, 71 mins) 6
Souleymane Doukara (On for Vieira, 74 mins) 5
