Leeds full-back star Charlie Taylor has been named in the Football League team of midweek.
The 23-year-old earned his position in the 11 after a brilliant display in Tuesday evening’s 2-0 victory over Reading.
The left-back played the full 90 minutes in the defensive position, ensuring his side a clean sheet, while also making some good forward runs.
It was a vital victory for promotion chasing Leeds, but Taylor’s display was the only one to receive recognition from the league.

Taylor is the product of the famous Leeds academy, making his debut in 2011 at the age of 17.
He has emerged as a star of the Yorkshire giants’ squad, playing in 96 encounters in total, while also being consistently linked with a move to the Premier League.
Of those appearances 24 of them have come in this campaign and he could join England’s top flight with Leeds, as the club currently sit in sixth place.
The win in midweek has left them just two points behind Reading in third, but they are a whole 10 points behind Brighton in the automatic promotion places.
They will face Brentford at Elland Road in the league next, who are sat in 14th place after two victories in their previous two matches.
