Leeds are interested in signing Portugal-based trio Salvador Agra, Rui Correia and Ali Ghazal, according to a report.

The three youngsters have caught the eye at Portuguese club Nacional and have been regulars in the side that managed an 11th place finish in the top flight this season.

Portuguese media outlet Record claim that Leeds are keen on all three of the players and would have to pay in the region of £5million for their collective services.

Agra, 24, is the pick of the lot and is rated at around £2million after the winger provided 12 assists and grabbed nine goals in 34 league appearances.

The former Portugal Under-21 international can play on either wing and would be a muc- needed addition to a Leeds squad lacking in quality wingers.

Nacional are also thought to be looking for £2million for their defensive midfielder Ghazal who made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, but the club could be open to negotiating with the 24-year-old entering the final year of his deal.

Leeds are believed to have made finding a quality centre-back a priority this summer and Correia at £750,000 could solve that problem at a good price.

The 25-year-old missed just two league games for Nacional this campaign and has two years left to run on his current contract.

There are a host of other clubs Leeds may have to fight off for the trio with Parma, Malaga and Rennes all credited with an interest in each player.

In other Leeds news, Massimo Cellino has been convinced to make a move for this youngster after watching him play.
