Leeds goalkeeper Rob Green has heaped praise on centre back Pontus Jansson, describing him as a “great attribute.”
The on-loan Torino star has been a sensational hit at Elland Road following his move from the Serie A side, with his strong relationship with the fans already endearing him to the Leeds faithful.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash against his old side Norwich, Green was quoted by BBC Radio Leeds broadcaster Adam Pope on his personal Twitter account as describing Jansson as an advantage on other teams.
Green on Jansson: " Along with Barts they are giants. His height is a big advantage. He's a great attribute but not just about 1 man." #lufc

However, Green warned Jansson not to get ahead of himself as he prepares to sit alongside fellow loanee Kyle Bartley at the heart of the Leeds defence against the Canaries.
Jansson, 25, is reportedly closing in on a permanent move to Elland Road, with a clause in his contract stating that if 20 appearances are made during the season then Leeds are obliged to sign him.
With the start he has made to life in Yorkshire, Leeds fans would be delighted to see Jansson sign on a permanent basis after keeping five clean sheets in his 11 league and cup appearances.
A win against Norwich on Saturday could see Garry Monk’s side move into the Championship’s top six as they currently sit just one point off the playoffs.
