Ronaldo Vieira has called on his Leeds teammates to beat Championship outfit Wolves as they look to close the gap on the top six.

Vieira is likely to start from the bench against the Midlands outfit, with academy graduate Kalvin Phillips replacing injured captain Liam Bridcutt alongside Ireland international Eunan O’Kane.

On his personal Instagram account, Vieira has called on his teammates to deliver against Walter Zenga’s side and secure a sixth domestic win of the season.

Former Benifca youth player, Vieira, could feature from the bench for Garry Monk’s side, with new signings Matt Grimes and Marcus Antonsson likely to join him on the substitute’s bench.

The superbly-named Vieira has made nine appearances in all competitions for the Yorkshire giants this season, after making his debut for the former Champions League side last season.

Leeds fans will be expecting to secure three points against cash rich Wolves, who have gained just one point from a possible 12 in their last four fixtures.

A win for Leeds could see them move on to 19 points a step closer to the Championship’s elite, with sixth placed Bristol City currently on 20 points.

In other Leeds news, Andy Ritchie has made this huge claim about his former side’s promotion hopes.
