Sevilla are not interested in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to a report.
Sky Sports Transfer Centre Blog (10.03am) has claimed that the repeatedly linked La Liga team are not keen on bringing in the 29-year-old shot stopper.
This follows a report by football website Goal that the La Liga club had beaten the Toffees in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.
The Sun claimed on Sunday that Everton would make a move for Hart, after he was told by the Manchester outfit to find a new club.
Meanwhile, Liverpool were installed as second favourites to sign the axed goalkeeper from Manchester City last week and Mark Lawrenson has urged Jurgen Klopp to make a move for the experienced goalkeeper in the final week of the transfer window.
However, there has been no talk of a move from Liverpool and SkyBet now have them as 6/1 shots to sign the England international in this transfer window.
Manchester City have made it clear that Hart could be sold in the next week after being demoted by Pep Guardiola.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss is close to signing Claudio Bravo from the Spanish giants, after the goalkeeper was pictured in Manchester.
Bravo’s addition is expected to leave Hart at number three in the City pecking order, with the Spanish boss opting for Willy Caballero to start in goal in the club’s opening three matches of the season.
The England goalkeeper was in the line-up for City’s Champions League play-off second leg against Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday night, but it could be his last match for the club.
Hart endured a difficult Euro 2016 campaign and made some costly mistakes as the nation were dumped out by minnows Iceland in the last 16.
Hart joined City from Shrewsbury in 2006 and has been a mainstay of the Premier League team during the Abu Dhabi era.
He is a firm favourite with City supporters for his leadership and commitment, and was a key player in the side that won Premier League titles in 2012 and 2014.
In other Everton transfer news, Napoli have offered £8.5million plus Manolo Gabbiadini for Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic in a blow to the Toffees.
