After two questionable haircuts, Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has decided enough’s enough and shaved it all off.
Liverpool fans will be hoping that the lack of hair will mean Moreno will be left to concentrate on his football, after a disappointing start to the season has seen him dropped to the bench.
Moreno played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 4-3 win over Arsenal in their first game of the season.
Since then he’s only played a bit part in the campaign, with two appearances from the bench totalling 14 minutes of football. He hasn’t featured at all since the 4-1 win over Leicester, when he came on for a single minute.
Moreno modelled the top knot earlier in the season, as seen here with his ‘twin’ Roberto Firmino.
Next up, Moreno went blonde, and it earned him 90 minutes on the pitch in a 3-0 EFL Cup win against Derby.
Now it’s all gone. The question is, will it be enough to win him any game time in Liverpool’s next match, at home against Manchester United on October 17?
Moreno signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2014 for a fee of £15m from Spanish club Sevilla.
He’s played a total of 95 games and contributed three goals and seven assists in his time in red.
