Liverpool are expected to name Divock Origi in the starting XI while Ovie Ejaria could also be given an opportunity to shine against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Origi has scored in each of his last two appearances and started against Leeds in the EFL Cup quarter-final victory at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

He broke the deadlock in the second-half and is expected to start up front in Sunday’s Premier League encounter because injuries are likely to keep Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho out of the starting XI.

Academy product Ejaria has already made four first-team appearances this season and could be handed his first league start under Klopp in a wide attacking role, while Ben Woodburn misses out.

Adam Lallana has also been an injury concern and even if he is fit enough to return, it’s unlikely he will be risked from the start and will probably be named on the bench.

Giorginio Wijnaldum could also be handed his 10th Premier League start in an advanced midfield role after he lined up as part of the front four against Leeds on Tuesday.

Sadio Mane should join Origi and Ejaria in attack while Jordan Henderson, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Nathaniel Clyne and Loris Karius are all expected to return.

James Milner should also line-up at left-back after coming on as a substitute against Leeds and Emre Can is expected to sit in his usual holding role alongside Henderson.

In other Liverpool news, the Reds are in a battle to sign this talented striker.
