Jurgen Klopp is set to rotate his Liverpool side once again after making 11 changes in the midweek League Cup win over Tottenham.

The Merseyside giants face Crystal Palace on Saturday, as they look to make it 10 wins in 13 league and cup encounters this season and Klopp is expected to overhaul his starting XI once again and make 10 changes against the Eagles.

Despite Daniel Sturridge finding the net twice against Tottenham in Liverpool’s 2-1 win, he is expected to drop to the bench to make way for Brazil international Roberto Firmino.

Elsewhere, first-team defenders Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and James Milner are all expected to return against Palace, despite an impressive performance from youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold on Tuesday night.

Lorus Karius will replace Simon Mignolet in goal, while captain Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana are set to return.

The big decision for Klopp is whether to start Emre Can, who was on the bench against Spurs, or partner Henderson with fit-again Georginio Wijnaldum, who delivered another smooth display in midweek..

Alongside Firmino, fleet footed Coutinho and speed merchant Sadio Mane are set to replace fringe players Divock Origi and Ovie Ejaria in attack as Klopp looks to put Alan Pardew’s side to the sword.

Danny Ings is also set to be overlooked after returning from injury on Tuesday night to make a substitute appearance, while long-term absentee Joe Gomez could be named on the bench.

A win against former stars Martin Kelly and Christian Benteke could see the Merseyside giants move to the top of the Premier League, as they sit on 20 points with Arsenal and Manchester City.

In other Liverpool team news, after being drawn against Leeds in the EFL Cup, this is the combined Liverpool and Leeds Premier League side.
