Liverpool fans reacted positively on Twitter after Jurgen Klopp was announced as the Premier League’s manager of the month for September.

The news was revealed on Twitter on Friday morning as the Premier League’s official account announced the winner.

Liverpool have made an emphatic start to the Premier League season, scoring 18 goals in their opening seven matches.

It’s the league’s joint-highest number, alongside Pep Guardiola’s high-flying Manchester City side.

The Reds currently sit in fourth place but they’ve already picking up seven points from important away clashes against Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

In September, Liverpool remained unbeaten in four games, as they won their first home game at Anfield against the current Premier League champions.

During the first game of the month, Liverpool thrashed Leicester City 4-1 before travelling to Stamford Bridge and defeating rivals Chelsea 2-1.

They saw off Derby County in the EFL Cup with ease before completing their fourth victory of the month with a scintillating 5-1 rout against Hull City.

Liverpool’s form has been sublime and they head into Monday’s night’s clash against Manchester United as favourites.
