Jordan Henderson delivered a great performance for England on Saturday – and Liverpool fans praised the midfielder on Twitter.
The Reds captain played an important role in England’s 2-0 win against Malta in the World Cup qualifier and was named the man-of-the-match.
Daniel Sturridge and Dele Alli netted the goals and Henderson supplied the assists for both as he continued his good form.
Henderson, 26, has enjoyed a fine start to the Premier League season with Liverpool and continued that with England.
Liverpool fans reacted on Twitter to another solid display from their central midfielder and one fan claimed he could be the next England manager.

Liverpool are now considered as serious title contenders after their impressive start and Henderson has been crucial to the early success.
He has played in all seven of the Premier League fixtures and netted his only goal against Chelsea in spectacular fashion, hitting an unstoppable long-range effort past Thibaut Courtois.
Henderson has built a strong partnership alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana in the heart of the midfield.
The former Sunderland player has now racked up 221 appearances for Liverpool and will hope to lift the league trophy at the end of the season.
England face Slovenia in their next World Cup qualifier and Henderson will be expected to feature after a strong display against Malta.
