Sadio Mane opened the scoring as Liverpool beat West Brom 2-1 at Anfield on Saturday evening- and fans on Twitter were ecstatic with his performance.
Forward Mane neatly converted a Roberto Firmino cross after 20 minutes to give the hosts the lead, before Phillippe Coutinho added a second just before half-time.
Tony Pulis’ side did claw one back with ten minutes to go, when Gareth McAuley punished Liverpool’s poor defending, but Jurgen Klopp’s side held on for all three points.
Reds supporters were full of praise for Mane, as they described him as the signing of the summer, following his £30 million transfer from Southampton in the summer.
While another fan felt that the attacking quartet of Coutinho, Firmino, Mane and Adam Lallana, have all replaced former striker Luis Suarez.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

It only took four players, but in a front line of Firmino, Coutinho, Mané and Lallana we might have finally replaced Suarez. #LFC

Mane has become an integral figure for the Reds since his transfer from Southampton in the summer.
He has scored four goals and supplied one assist in eight Premier League appearances for the Merseyside club, as they continue their positive start to the season.
They are second in the league with 20 points from nine games, joint with Arsenal who are first, but both team’s can be leapfrogged by Manchester City, if they beat the Saints on Sunday.
Klopp’s side will now host Tottenham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, before travelling to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace next Saturday.
In other Liverpool team news, supporters on Twitter were pleases, as Jurgen Klopp dropped Daniel Sturridge to the bench for the West Brom clash.
