Joel Matip played 90 minutes in the victory against West Brom – and Liverpool supporters praised the defender on Twitter for his performance.
The Reds earned a 2-1 win in the Premier League on Saturday and continued their impressive start to the season.
Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho scored first-half goals to put Liverpool in control, but Gareth McAuley set up a nervous finish at Anfield.
The result means that the Merseyside club climb to second in the league table and are only behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference.
Liverpool fans were highly complimentary of Matip and believe he has been a great addition to the team.

Matip, 25, moved to Anfield in the summer on a free transfer and has enjoyed a great start for the club.
The Cameroon international has struck a formidable partnership alongside Dejan Lovren and they have been a regular feature in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The centre-back has now made nine appearances for Liverpool and is continuing to impress the club’s supporters.
He previously impressed at his former team Schalke, making 258 appearances after graduating from the club’s academy, but is now experiencing his first taste of English football.
