Sadio Mane put in another good display for Liverpool in the match against Tottenham on Saturday, and supporters took to Twitter to applaud their new forward player.
The Senegal international joined the Reds from Southampton earlier in the summer for £34million and he found the back of the net on the 55th minute mark, only for it be ruled out for offside.
The 24-year-old winger started the game at White Hart Lane and he played 88 minutes before being replaced by Daniel Sturridge.
The match finished 1-1 after a first-half penalty was slotted away by James Milner for Liverpool, before defender Danny Rose equalised for Spurs in the second half.
Fans of the Anfield club were happy with what they saw from Mane, believed his goal was wrongly disallowed and even compared him to former Liverpool hero Luis Suarez.

Think Mane will be just what we need after losing Suarez, passionate, fierce and can score goals from absolutely no where⚽️? #LFC

Haven't seen this amount of grit and guts (Mane) from a Liverpool FC player since Suarez. I love it. #LFC

Mane joined Liverpool after two-years of Premier League experience on the south coast with Southampton.
The Reds will be looking to improve on their eighth place finish from last season, without the distractions of European football.
Liverpool will face champions Leicester next in their first home game of the season on Saturday 10 September, with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge the following Friday to conclude a difficult run of fixtures.
In other Liverpool team news, Ragnar Klavan was left out of the Reds squad against Tottenham on Saturday after he picked up a minor knee injury.
