Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to question where defender Dejan Lovren was after he wasn’t selected in the line-up in Saturday’s Premier League clash against Hull.
Lovren, 27, was restricted to a bench role in the EFL clash against Derby in midweek, but he started the most recent league clash against Chelsea in the club’s 2-1 victory.
Star attackers Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana have returned to the side alongside James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum following the tie against the Rams.
The fans of the Merseysiders were left wondering where the Croatia international was after he wasn’t even selected on the bench.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
how times have changed everyone missing Lovren, same lot who hated him. some people in this fanbase jeez. #lfc

Very good team that! Bit annoying there's no Lovren 'cause I want the 1st choice CBs to build an effective relationship with New #1 GK. #lfc

Liverpool have started the new campaign in good form under Jurgen Klopp in his first full season at the club.
The Reds are currently sat in sixth place in the Premier League table with 10 points from their opening five fixtures as they look to return to Europe.
They have won their last three matches in all competitions, scoring nine goals in Klopp’s attacking side.
They will be looking at the clash against newly promoted Hull as a chance to continue their good run, but the Tigers have also started the season well after pre-season worries.
In other Liverpool team news, Loris Karius was told at training on Friday that he has won the battle to be Klopp’s No1.
