Liverpool are rumoured to be considering a January move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha – and fans are not at all impressed.

The Sun, citing Football Whispers, claim that Jurgen Klopp is targeting the former Manchester United flop as one of several January transfer window targets.

Zaha has been in tremendous form for Crystal Palace this season, contributing three goals and eight assists from 18 games in all competitions this season.

Alan Pardew’s men are struggling in the Premier League and find themselves in 17th place, with just one win from their last 10 games drawing them back into a relegation battle. But Zaha is refusing to go down without a fight.

His performances are believed to have caught the eye of Klopp, who wants to bring him to the club in the absence of Senegal international Sadio Mane, who is set to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Liverpool fans, however, are not at all impressed by the rumours, and took to Twitter to voice their outrage at a potential deal.

Here are some of their messages on Twitter:

Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League, six points behind leaders Chelsea, with 11 wins from 17 games. The Reds are the league’s top goalscorers with 41 goals.

In other Liverpool news, Reds skipper Jordan Henderson believes his side will have no trouble replacing Mane next month.
