Loris Karius started in goal for Liverpool in the Saturday evening clash against Crystal Palace and fans were left unimpressed with his display.
The 23-year-old shot stopper has replaced Simon Mignolet as the Reds’ number one goalkeeper in the new campaign and kept his position in goal at Selhurst Park.
He played the full 90 minutes in the Reds’ net in the 4-2 win, conceding two goals from James McArthur which were cancelled out by Emre Can, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Roberto Firmino.
However, fans were left disappointed on social media with the goalkeeper’s display, with some stating that he isn’t any better than Mignolet.

Can't see why Karius over Mignolet though #LFC

Karius having a Mignolet standard game yet I'd feel more comfortable having the Belgium in the sticks. At least you know what to expect #LFC

Hard to choose who is better out of Mignolet and Karius atm. Both prone to indecision. #LFC

Karius is no better than Mignolet. Not pleased at all. Full throttle awaited #LFC

Following his move from Mainz in the summer the shot stopper has made six appearances for Liverpool conceding five goals and keeping two clean sheets.
Despite the questions still held over a position which has caused Liverpool problems for years they currently sit in third place in the Premier League table.
The Reds are currently level with Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the league with the trio sat on 23 points each after 10 fixtures.
In other Liverpool news, Ryan Giggs has said that this is what Liverpool are missing ahead of their title challenge.
