Liverpool academy director Alex Inglethorpe agreed a new multi-year contract with the club, and fans of the Reds are happy on Twitter.
The Anfield club announced the new deal on the official club website on Friday afternoon.
Inglethorpe has been key to many of Liverpool’s emerging stars breaking into the senior team, which has seen Sheyi Ojo, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ovie Ejaria make the step up in recent times among others.
Now Reds fans are happy on social media to see the club tie down one of the club’s successful members of staff.

The club has been famed for it’s academy in the past, producing good England international’s in Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen alongside Jamie Carragher, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman who all contributed greatly for the side.
The Under-21 side finished in seventh place in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League in the last campaign and the Under-23s are now sat in third place after nine fixtures this season.
In other Liverpool news, Charlie Nicholas believes this Reds attacker is the dangerman.
