Liverpool cruised to a 5-1 victory against Hull on Saturday – and the club’s fans were keen to praise Adam Lallana on Twitter for his performance.
The midfielder scored one and assisted twice as the Reds continued their impressive recent form.
Lallana, 28, opened the scoring in the first-half with a left footed shot which was placed into the bottom right corner.
Hull’s Ahmed Elmohamady was then sent off for a deliberate handball, which allowed James Milner to double the lead from the penalty spot.
Lallana later produced assists for team-mates Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho, meaning that David Meyler’s goal was just a consolation.
He was substituted off in the second-half and received a huge reception from the Anfield faithful, with Milner going on to score another penalty to complete the scoring.
The Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to praise the influence of Lallana and one fan claimed he is the best central attacking midfielder in the Premier League right now.
Always knew Lallana would be great for us, glad. He's been underrated and now really showing what he can do.

Lallana has been a part of a Liverpool side who have been in stunning form in front of goal.
The Reds have now scored 24 goals in their opening eight matches this season and have begun to match the well known attacking style of manager Jurgen Klopp.
Lallana has been directly involved in six of those goals and has been in fantastic form since moving to a central midfield position.
The England international was included in Sam Allardyce’s first squad as manager and Lallana may have forced his way into the starting line up for their fixtures against Malta and Slovenia, with both World Cup qualifiers taking place in October.
In other Liverpool team news, the club’s supporters reacted on Twitter to Dejan Lovren’s omission against Hull.
