Adam Lallana has been pictured arriving at Anfield ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Manchester United – and fans took to Twitter to celebrate the player’s arrival.

The 28-year-old was a doubt going into the clash after an injury sustained in the previous league fixture against Swansea.

However,  the Sun have pictured him entering the ground in his tracksuit ahead of the encounter, confirming that he will be in the match day squad.

Fans took to social media following the image to reveal their happiness that one of their key players was fit enough to play against their most hated rivals.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Lallana, 28, completed a move to Anfield from Southampton in the summer of 2014 for a £25million fee.

He has been rejuvenated in the new campaign under manager Jurgen Klopp with three goals and three assists in his eight appearances for Liverpool.

Liverpool will now be looking to continue their five-match winning run with Lallana in the team against United.

They could move to the top of the Premier League table if they win by four goals, leapfrogging league leaders Manchester City.

In other Liverpool news, midfielder Emre Can has hinted that he will be starting Monday night’s clash against Manchester United by posting an image on Instagram.
