Liverpool fans have reacted anxiously on Twitter to the news that James Milner could be a doubt for their fixture against Crystal Palace this Saturday.
The midfielder-turned-left-back fell ill on Tuesday and only took part in a running session on Thursday prior to Liverpool’s next Premier League clash.
Jurgen Klopp revealed the news in his press conference on Friday lunch-time and Merseyside journalist, James Pearce tweeted it to Liverpool’s worrying supporters.
Klopp: "We have a few knocks. Millie (James Milner) was ill on Tuesday. Yesterday he did a running session. We will see how he is today."

Milner has been deployed as a left-back this season despite learning his trade on the right side of midfield or in the centre.
Alberto Moreno’s lack of form forced Klopp to make some changes and with the arrival of Giorginio Wijnaldum, the German opted to keep his vice-captain in the side as a defender.
The former England international has been fairly impressive in the role so far, building upon his performances with each game.
So far this season, he’s started every Premier League game, including Liverpool’s victories against Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester City.
He was rested for the Reds’ EFL Cup tie against Tottenham on Tuesday evening but if fit, would be expected to start against Crystal Palace so the news of his illness was worrying for fans.
