Liverpool fans were left unimpressed on Twitter with Georginio Wijnaldum’s performance against Swansea on Saturday.
The Merseysiders travelled to the Liberty Stadium looking to claim the three points against an out of form side.
Despite conceding an early goal within the first 10 minutes from Swansea’s Leroy Fer they battled valiantly to a 2-1 victory with goals from Roberto Firmino and James Milner.
Wijnaldum started the match in midfield and played 85 minutes, but fans were left disappointed with his showing in Wales.
One fan even compared his display to playing with 10 men the pitch.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
And playing Wijnaldum today is like playing 10 men. Don`t think I`ve seen him

We need to put Emre Can on ASAP. Wijnaldum is leaving Henderson exposed.

I still rate Wijnaldum highly but he needs to come off. Grujic or Can

Liverpool missing Lallana's influence on the game. Wijnaldum has been piss poor, Hendo having a shocker as well & Milner not attacking much

Genuinely don't see what Wijnaldum brings to this Liverpool team in this role, and not his PSV or Newcastle position. Games pass him by.

The sooner Emre is brought on for Wijnaldum the better

Wijnaldum completed a big £25million move from recently relegated Newcastle to Anfield in the summer.
He spent one season with the Magpies after completing a £14.5million transfer last summer, but was unable to stop them from going down to England’s second tier.
The midfielder has featured in seven fixtures for Liverpool in the new campaign, with a return of two assists.
The 25-year-old could also be in danger of losing his place in the starting eleven with midfielders Lucas Leiva and Emre Can waiting patiently in the wings.
In other Liverpool team news, Jordan Henderson has claimed that his team-mate can be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
