Liverpool fans have urged Giorginio Wijnaldum to stay injury-free on Twitter ahead of his clash for Holland against Luxembourg on Sunday evening.
The midfielder posted a message on Twitter ahead of his country’s crucial World Cup qualifier but Liverpool fans are more concerned about him returning to Premier League action.

Wijnaldum recently picked up a hip injury during the Reds 2-1 victory against Swansea and was forced to sit out their crunch clash against Manchester United.
It was a disappointing goalless draw for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who are currently top of the Premier League table, and Wijnaldum’s absence was felt, alongside teammate Adam Lallana who also suffered an injury blow.
He returned two weeks later against West Brom as a substitute but has not played a full 90 minutes for Liverpool in the Premier League since his injury because Emre Can has retained his position.
The 26-year-old scored his first goal for the club as a late substitute against Watford during their 6-1 victory last Sunday and played 89 minutes for his country against Belgium on Wednesday.
There has already been a number of Premier League players suffering injury while on international duty including Vincent Jansson and Alexis Sanchez, and Liverpool fans hope Wijnaldum stays fully fit for their clash against Southampton.
Here is a selection of the messages on Twitter:
