Liverpool fans applauded Philippe Coutinho’s incredible performance against Crystal Palace and hit back at rival supporters who claimed their stars were better.

The Little Magician has netted four goals and notched up as many assists for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season and has been in fantastic form.

Following his performance against Crystal Palace during Liverpool’s thrilling 4-2 victory, fans claimed he was better than Mesut Ozil, Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payet.

Coutinho, alongside teammates Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino, have torn Premier League teams apart this season.

The Brazilian’s quick footwork, clever passes and intricate ball control makes him stand out from the crowd and Liverpool fans think he’s the best number 10 in the league.

The 24-year-old, who has been voted the club’s Player of the Season for the last two successive seasons, joined the Reds in January 2013.

He cost just £8.5million from Inter Milan and has since gone on to make 156 appearances, scoring 33 goals in all competitions.

His partnership with teammate and fellow Brazilian international Firmino has become a formidable force for the Merseysiders.

Liverpool currently sit in third position in the Premier League, level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the table and only separated by goal difference.
