Liverpool are desperate to offload Adam Bogdan and have offered him to several Championship clubs, according to a report.

Bogdan only joined Liverpool from Bolton last summer, but has endured a debut season to forget with several high profile mistakes whenever he has filled in for current first choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

Football Insider revealed in April that Bogdan was surplus to requirements and had been granted permission to look for another club.

The Sun now report that Bogdan has been offered to a number of second-tier clubs after learning he has no future at Anfield.

Liverpool confirmed the capture of Maniz’s Loris Karius last week and the 22-year-old is expected to at least challenge Mignolet for the No.1 spot, if not immediately become first choice next season.

The transfer leaves Bogdan fourth in line for a starting place after Danny Ward jumped ahead of him the queue at the back end of the season.

Ward filled in for Mignolet during the closing weeks of the Premier League season as Jurgen Klopp focused all his first team efforts on reaching the Europa League final.

However, Bogdan played the final Premier League match of the season when Ward was injurd.

Bogdan arrived on a free transfer in July, but Klopp is believed to be willing to allow the Hungarian to leave on a free or on a long-term loan.

In other Liverpool news, Southampton have moved to tie down their star attacker in a bid to fend off another raid from the Reds and interest from Tottenham.
