Liverpool players voiced their excitement on Twitter and Instagram following their 4-2 victory against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side recorded their seventh Premier League victory of the season in emphatic style in a game which highlighted Liverpool’s strengths and weaknesses.
It was a thrilling encounter which saw Liverpool take the lead on three occasions before Roberto Firmino rounded-off the scoring.
Five goals were scored in the first half as Emre Can, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and James McArthur (2) all found the back of the net in the opening 45 minutes.
Liverpool demonstrated some shocking defending at times, with Lovren, Alberto Moreno and Loris Karius at fault on several occasions.
However, Klopp’s forwards were once again in sublime form, with Philippe Coutinho picking up a deserved Man of the Match award for a stunning display.
The Merseysiders currently sit level on points with Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the table but are third on goal difference after conceding another two goals on Saturday.
Liverpool host Watford next Sunday and will be hoping to record their fourth straight victory.
