Liverpool were pictured arriving at Anfield ahead of their EFL Cup clash with Tottenham on Tuesday evening and at least six senior players are expected to feature in the match.
The Daily Star showed Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Loris Karius and Sadio Mane at the Liverpool ground in tracksuits, clearly suggesting they are in the 18-man matchday squad for the clash.
The six senior stars all started against West Brom on Saturday during Liverpool’s 2-1 victory..
One of Liverpool’s goalscorers on the weekend, Mane was pictured entering the ground by the Daily Star despite speculation Klopp will pick a considerably weakened team.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to start at right-back despite Nathaniel Clyne being involved in the squad, according to Merseyside reporter Paul Joyce in the Express.
Lovren could line-up at centre-back despite starting seven league games this season as Klopp has demonstrated in the past he likes to retain continuity in defence.
Can will hope for a start after making just three appearances from the starting line-up in all competitions so far this season, while Lallana is likely to be on the bench.
