Liverpool star Mamadou Sakho has shared a video of a friend smoking a shisha pipe whilst travelling in the same car as the Liverpool defender.
The video shows the 26-year-old in a luxury car and pictures his friend, wearing a Liverpool shirt, smoking the pipe.
The former Paris Saint-Germain centre-back is no stranger to controversy after being provisionally banned for 30 days for failing a drugs test in the aftermath of Liverpool’s Europa League clash with Manchester United in April, although it is unclear whether the French international also engaged in smoking the pipe.
Sakho developed himself into an integral part of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team this season before his campaign was cut short following the ban, which has now been overturned after UEFA commenced their own investigation into whether or not the fat-burning drug should even be on the banned substances list.
The Reds defender posted the video of the incident on his ‘story’ via the social media app Snapchat, allowing users to view the video as many times as they like for 24 hours.
In other Liverpool news, the Reds have rejected a £25million bid for Christian Benteke from Crystal Palace.
