Liverpool are targeting a summer swoop for Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, according to a reports.
Italian website Gazetta World are reporting that Jurgen Klopp is keen to boost his attacking options with the addition of the Spanish winger.
However Liverpool also face competition from Italian side Fiorentina for the 24-year-old.
Tello spent the last six months on loan in Florence making 16 appearances in Serie A and it is reported that the Italians want to make a permanent move for the winger.
Liverpool had previously been linked with a bid for Tello in 2014 before he moved to Porto on a two-year loan.
Tello has made 86 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, scoring a total of 20 goals during his two years at the club after being promoted to the side from the B team. The winger made his international debut for Spain in 2013 against Ecuador, although he hasn’t since added to his caps.
However, it is thought that Barcelona are keen to add to their attacking options before they let Tello leave the club, so the move may have to wait until the Catalan club add to their already impressive attack.
In other Liverpool news, the club are keeping tabs on a Premier League striker.
