Luke Ayling revealed his delight on Twitter after Leeds beat Burton in the Championship on Saturday.
The Whites continued their impressive form by earning a 2-0 victory at Elland Road and they have now climbed to ninth in the table, just one point adrift of the play-off positions.
Late goals from Chris Wood and Souleymane Doukara secured the three points and they will now have aspirations of promotion.
Garry Monk’s side have recorded three wins in the space of seven days, after beating Norwich in the EFL Cup on penalties and a narrow 1-0 triumph against Wolves last Saturday.
Leeds defender Ayling hailed a fantastic week for the club and praised the supporters.
“That tops off a great week! Boys given everything this last week for three great results. Fans been unreal,” Ayling wrote on his personal Twitter account.
Ayling, who joined from Bristol City in the summer, has emerged as a key member of the Leeds team during their excellent recent run after stepping in for the injured Gaetano Berardi at right-back.
The 25-year-old has completed 90 minutes in all 15 of the league matches this season and is a crucial part of the club’s defence.
