Manchester United fans erupted with anger on Twitter as Chelsea scored two shock early goals in their clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Jose Mourinho’s return to his former club did not initially go as he would have wanted as United were 2-0 down at half-time following an early onslaught from Chelsea.
Antonio Conte’s men were quick out of the blocks as Pedro dealt a devastating blow within the first minute of the game to give Chelsea the lead.
Gary Cahill doubled the Blues’ lead just 20 minutes later and Manchester United never looked like getting a goal before the half-time break.
Mourinho was criticised for the way he set up against Liverpool, with a number of fans claiming the former Chelsea boss had gone to Anfield looking for a draw.
United are in the middle of a tricky run of fixtures that also includes Manchester City in the EFL Cup nextWednesday.
It’s been an up and down start to the season so far for Mourinho’s side after they dropped points against Stoke, Watford, Manchester City and Liverpool.
They sat in seventh place prior to kick-off but could overtake Chelsea in fifth place with a victory at Stamford Bridge.
However’s the start did not go as United fans would have hoped.

Nothing being created so our lethargic striker drops into midfield. I've heard this joke before and it wasn't funny then either #mufc

Awful awful performance. Wrong selection of players. I don't see how some of you say it's not manager's fault. #MUFC
