Football Insider looks ahead to the clash of the two Premier League title favourites Manchester City and Chelsea at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

KICK-OFF TIME: Sunday, 4pm

TV: Live on Sky Sports 1, highlights on BBC1

IT’S A BIG GAME FOR…

Yaya Toure. Flat-track bully or evergreen destroyer? The jury is out on the Ivorian powerhouse’s ability to control marquee matches from central midfield. Looked a shadow of his former self against the best teams at the back end of last season but started the season in impressive fashion with a two goals and a dominant performance against West Brom. Chelsea will provide a far sterner test of Toure’s defence-screening skills. The forward bursts remain as thrilling a sight as ever, but there are doubts about his willingness to use his explosiveness to track back.

PLAYER TO WATCH…

Eden Hazard. Forget the Belgian box of tricks’ matchwinning calibre. All eyes will be on the new-look Chelsea medical team whenever the Premier League’s most-fouled player goes to ground. There were no fingers pointed at Hazard by Jose Mourinho following the events that have gone on to dominate the news agenda this week. But the demotion of Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn will cast new light on the antics of the Chelsea No10 and his team-mates.

PAST THREE MEETINGS…

REMEMBER WHEN…

Frank Lampard scored an 85th minute equaliser for City against Chelsea in September 2014, less than four months after ending his 13-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
