Morgan Schneiderlin is a doubt for Manchester United’s Premier League clash against West Brom tomorrow.

Louis van Gaal revealed today that there are no new injuries among his squad but Schneiderlin is struggling with an illness.

The midfield lynchpin missed the midweek Champions League win over CSKA Moscow due to “private reasons” and Van Gaal will make a late decision on whether to recall the Frenchman for tomorrow’s afternoon kick-off.

The United manager confirmed that Antonio Valencia is still out through injury and Matteo Darmian is also absent through suspension.

Schneiderlin trained today but is feeling the effects of an illness. “We must wait and see,” said Van Gaal.

Phil Jones is also in contention to start after being an unused substitute against CKSA on Tuesday night.

Jones missed United’s draw with Crystal Palace last weekend after Van Gaal claimed his fitness was in the “red zone” but he has been training fully this week.
