Martin Keown has tipped Everton to continue their good run with an away victory against Middlesborugh and hailed the form of trio Romelu Lukaku, Tom Davies and Ross Barkley.
The Toffees travel to the Riverside Stadium on Saturday for a Premier League clash and will be full of confidence after going undefeated in their last seven league matches.
The Merseyside club recorded a convincing 6-3 win against Bournemouth in their last game as star striker Romelu Lukaku scored four goals.
Meanwhile, Ross Barkley has been rejuvenated in recent games and is showing his top form, plus emerging youngster Tom Davies is continuing to impress following his first-team breakthrough this season.
Ex-Arsenal defender Keown has predicted Everton to continue their good run with a narrow 2-1 win and was full of praise for their in-form players.
“Romelu Lukaku, Tom Davies and Ross Barkley are all firing and Everton have a really astute manager in Ronald Koeman. They can go there and do a number on Middlesbrough,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
Everton have continued to make up ground on the top six clubs and are now just seven points adrift of Arsenal in fourth.
They will hope to continue playing the same way and see where it leaves them at the end of the season.
The Toffees posses the leading Premier League goalscorer in Lukaku as the Belgium international has struck 16 times.
In other Everton news, Ronald Koeman has made a huge statement about the club’s player.
