Michael Owen believes there are still question marks over Liverpool duo Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
The Reds have kept just one clean sheet in the new campaign with a 0-0 draw coming against fierce rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
They are currently performing well in the Premier League in third place, but they currently have the joint worst goals conceded tally in the top flights top nine.
Now former Liverpool forward Michael Owen has stated that there may be the “odd question mark” over the goalkeeper situation heading into the January window.
“Looking a bit further ahead into the January transfer window, I really do wonder what Jurgen Klopp is going to do,” said Michael Owen to Sportlobster, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
“I think a lot will depend between now and then [are there] any injuries or loss of form. I think they have got a pretty complete squad.
“There’s maybe the odd question mark over the goalkeeper situation, but apart from that, all is rosy in the Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp camp.”
Karius, 23, made a summer switch to the Reds joining from Bundesliga side Mainz.
He has not looked convincing in his appearances so far playing in six encounters and conceding five goals.
Meanwhile, Mignolet, 28, has made seven appearances conceding nine goals.
Liverpool also have experienced keeper Alex Manninger, who is yet to play for the club, while young duo Ryan Fulton and Danny Ward are out on loan alonside Hungarian Adam Bogdan.
