Leeds youngster Ronaldo Vieira should be omitted from the side to play Burton.
The Whites secured a place in the EFL Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday by beating Norwich on penalties and have been rewarded with an away tie against Liverpool.
Vieira, 18, scored the winner in the penalty shoot-out and has been in impressive form this season since breaking into the first team from the club’s academy.
The youngster should miss out on the league match against Burton, with manager Garry Monk restoring Eunan O’Kane and Kalvin Phillips to the side.
Monk should make nine changes to his side after handing fringe players the chance in the cup, with Pablo Hernandez, Rob Green, Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson, Charlie Taylor, Hadi Sacko, Chris Wood, O’Kane and Phillips all returning.
Marco Silvestri, Lewie Coyle, Liam Cooper, Gaetano Berardi, Matt Grimes, Ronaldo Vieira, Souleymane Doukara, Alex Mowatt and Marcus Antonsson should all be dropped from the side.
Experienced goalkeeper Green should continue in goal despite the great performance from Silvestri in the cup, who save three penalties in the shoot-out.
Monk has decided on a regular back four this season and he should stick with it for the upcoming league match, with the Whites currently only three points adrift of the play-off places.
The developing partnership of Phillips and O’Kane should be allowed to continue at the expense of Vieira, despite his heroics in the EFL Cup.
Paulo Hernandez should be restored to the side after missing two games with a dead leg and provides the creative spark in the attack.
The pace of Sacko and Roofe on the wings should prove the Burton defence an issue and the pair also provide a strong goal threat, with the latter being converted from a natural striker this season.
Wood, 24, is the obvious choice to lead the line and he has scored nine goals in 17 appearances this campaign.
In other Leeds team news, the club’s supporters are calling on Twitter for Monk to axe a regular player against Burton.
