Leeds have made senior midfield pair Luke Murphy and Toumani Diagouraga available for transfer, according to a report.

Football website HITC claim Garry Monk has told Murphy, 26, and Diagouraga, 29, they are not part of his plans and they can find new clubs in the next fortnight before the window shuts.

The revelation comes after Leeds secured the signing of Liam Bridcutt on loan from Sunderland, on Tuesday morning.

Bridcutt spent the last six months of last season on loan at Leeds and is expected to be a permanent fixture in Monk’s side.

The Yorkshire giants have had a torrid start to the season, claiming just one point in three matches as they opened with losses to QPR and Birmingham before salvaging a point against Fulham on Tuesday.

Murphy, 26, has been with the Whites since joining from Crewe in 2013 for just shy of £1million and has played 110 matches in all competitions.

Combative midfielder Diagouraga arrived at Elland Road for £700,000 in January from Brentford, having played 244 times for the Londoners over seven years.

The 29-year-old featured 14 times for Leeds last season after joining the Yorkshire club and has played just once in the famous colours since the start of this season.

In other Leeds transfer news, they are set to finalise Euro 2016 signing as a medical gets underway.
