Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne took to Twitter to celebrate the three points after a thrilling game against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Reds were pegged back twice with two goals from James McArthur exposing their defensive frailties, but Liverpool are an attacking force this season and went on to win at a canter to maintain their challenge at the top of the table.
Clyne came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace before moving to Southampton in 2012, and said it was “good to see some old faces” after an emotional return to Selhurst Park.
He also singled out Liverpool’s travelling fans as “class” and posted an image on his personal Twitter account applauding them at the end of the game.

Liverpool’s attacking display was fantastic again with the trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho running the Palace defence ragged.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now on 23 points in the Premier League, level with leaders Manchester City and Arsenal, but in third place because of goal difference.
The Reds face Watford next in the league at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
In other Liverpool news, Jurgen Klopp is targeting this young left-back as a long-term solution for the club.
