Lifelong Tottenham fan and NBA legend Steve Nash joined Mauricio Pochettino and his team for training in London on Thursday afternoon.

The club’s official Twitter account posted several images of Nash in training at the Enfield Centre, posing alongside some of Spurs’ biggest stars.

Christian Eriksen and Victor Wanyama were pictured holding up Nash’s basketball shirts as he posted with a Tottenham shirt bearing his own name also.

Nash, who enjoyed an 18 year career in professional basketball, played in 1217 games and won eight All Star titles as part of an illustrious career.

The 6 ft 3in point guard played for Phoenix Suns, Los Angelos Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks during his successful playing career.

Nash was voted the NBA’s Most Valuable Player on two occasions but he’s always had a beloved interest in Tottenham football club.

In 2008, the basketball star told The Guardian in an exclusive interview that he had always seen himself as a future owner of Tottenham.

Nash has always backed the club’s owners but has never hidden his desire to be involved with the club whenever he can.

His recent trip to London was not in search of a formal role however and the basketball star was simply enjoying some fun with some of Tottenham’s stars ahead of their next Premier League clash against Leicester City.

In other Tottenham news, Paul Merson has made his latest prediction for Spurs’ clash against the Premier League champions.
