New Celtic signing Kolo Toure has praised Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers, calling him one of the game’s best managers.
In a media conference and quoted on Celtic’s official Twitter account, the experienced defender, who has also worked with Arsene Wenger, Roberto Mancini and Jurgen Klopp at Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool respectively, has said that Rodgers is among the elite managers.
KT: "Brendan is a top manager. One of the best. He did a great job at Swansea and Liverpool and I'm sure he will do a great job here." (LA)

The Ivorian defender has signed a one-year deal at Celtic Park on a free, after his contract ran out at Anfield.
Toure, who was an integral part of Arsenal’s ‘invincibles’ team, could spark the end of the Hoops hunt for a centre-back, which has also seen manager Brendan Rodgers linked with Shane Duffy and Paddy McNair.
Celtic confirmed the signing of Toure on Sunday, as Rodgers completed the signing of the former Liverpool centre-back for the second time.
The 35-year-old is expected to go straight into the Celtic first-team, with the former Swansea manager opting for a three-man defence so far in his short tenure as the Hoops manager.
Toure became Celtic’s third signing after Rodgers has already brought in youngsters Moussa Dembele from Fulham and Kristoffer Ajer from Norwegian side IK Start.
The former Swansea boss continues to be linked with more new recruits, with Aston Villa’s Scott Sinclair still high on the list.
