Leeds midfielder Eunan O’Kane described the victory over Burton as a “horrible” win on Twitter.
The Whites battled to a late 2-0 victory at Elland Road on Saturday in the Championship meeting.
Chris Wood converted from the penalty spot on the 83rd minute before substitute Souleymane Doukara finished the scoring in stoppage time.
However, midfielder O’Kane described the win as a horrible one on his personal Twitter account but stated if they continue to grind out results then they will climb the league further.
O’Kane, 26, played the full 90 minutes against Burton and helped to secure the club’s seventh league win of the season.
The central midfielder has made a good impact since his arrival in the summer transfer window and made nine appearances, winning six of them.
He left Premier League club Bournemouth in his pursuit of regular football and has settled well at Leeds.
The Yorkshire giants are now sat in ninth place with 23 points from 15 fixtures.
They will travel to Norwich in the league next, who are sat in fourth place, but suffered a 5-0 defeat against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
