Ossie Ardiles has revealed his delight after Tottenham continued their unbeaten start in the league but warned they are not at their best yet.
Spurs completed a 2-1 victory against Middlesbrough on Saturday, with Heung-Min Son grabbing a first-half brace to secure the three points.
Son, 24, has forced his way into the starting line up in recent games and has now scored four league goals in as many appearances.
The result has seen Mauricio Pochettino’s side rise to second in the table and leaves them four points behind Manchester City.
Spurs legend Ardiles has explained on his personal Twitter account that he is thrilled with another three points and believes the team are yet to reach their best this season.
“Great win at Mborough. Not at our best just yet but collecting vital points. Congrats to MP and the boys at Spurs,” he said.
