Leeds’ assistant manger Pep Clotet has revealed on Twitter the team have been preparing ahead of their next match.

The Whites face an away match against Norwich on Saturday in the Championship and will hope to continue their climb up the table.

Garry Monk’s side have picked up seven points from their last three league games and are up to ninth-placed in the Championship, just one point adrift of the play-off places.

Norwich are currently fourth in the table, but have lost their last two consecutive league games, including a 5-0 demolition against promotion rivals Brighton.

Clotet has claimed on Twitter that the Leeds team have been preparing for the upcoming match.

“At the training ground, where we’ve made the most of a cloudy morning as we prepare for our trip to Norwich,” Clotet wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Clotet moved to Elland Road in the summer to work as Monk’s assistant and the pair have made a good start.

The duo previously worked together at Swansea and are hopeful of returning their new side to the Premier League, following 13 seasons without top-flight football for the Yorkshire club.

Leeds face Norwich and Newcastle in their next two matches, who were both relegated from the Premier League last season.

The Whites supporters are now hopeful of a play-off spot this season and will be able to measure themselves against two of the division’s top sides.

Forward Chris Wood will hope to continue his impressive form this season, after scoring 10 goals in his 18 appearances across all competitions.
