Spurs won the match 1-0 against the Italian giants, with Crouch scoring what proved to be the deciding goal in a 1-0 aggregate win at the round of 16 stage.
Asked by the official Tottenham Twitter account what his favourite moment during the campaign was, he replied via his personal account mentioning Spurs’ 3-1 victory over Inter at White Hart Lane, but stated the Milan victory was his favourite.

The towering striker bagged a hat-trick in the play-off stages over Swiss side Young Boys, ensuring that Tottenham made the competition.
He went forward to score three goals in the group stages against Inter and Werder Bremen respectively before the winner at the San Siro against Milan.
Tottenham were eventually knocked out by La Liga giants Real Madrid at the quarter-final stage, suffering a 5-0 defeat on aggregate.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be aiming to go further in the competition in the new campaign and they have been drawn in a group against Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow.
