Piers Morgan has urged Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to hand in his resignation after the defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
The Gunners suffered a heavy 5-1 away defeat against the Bundesliga side in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.
The two sides were level at half-time after Alexis Sanchez cancelling out an Arjen Robeen long-range effort.
However, Bayern scored four unanswered goals after the break through Thiago Alcantara (two), Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller to take a commanding lead in the tie.
Wenger’s position at the club has come under pressure from supporters this season, with many ‘Wenger out’ fans urging for his long tenure to come to an end.
Outspoken celebrity Morgan, who is an Arsenal fan, believes that it’s time for Wenger to leave the club.
“Where’s your shame, Wenger? Resign,” Morgan wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Wenger’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and he is set to discuss his future.
The Frenchman was extremely successful in the earlier stages of his career with Premier League titles, but they have struggled in recent times.
They have not lifted the league title since the 2003/04 season, while they have frustrated supporters in Europe in a similar way.
The Gunners have been knocked out of the Champions League last 16 stages in the previous six seasons and it seems certain that will happen again this campaign.
In other Arsenal news, a Sky Sports pundit believes this player must leave the club.
