Piers Morgan has said that Mesut Ozil’s stunning goal for Arsenal in their 3-2 win against Ludogorets was one of the best things he’s seen in his entire life.

Playmaker Ozil ran through on goal from the right-hand side and chipped the goalkeeper, before using his composure to beat two defenders to score a late winner in Bulgaria.

Earlier on the Gunners had come from 2-0 down, with Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud levelling the scores before half-time, and the north London club have now qualified for the last-16 stage.

Broadcaster Morgan, who is an Arsenal fan, could not believe his eyes and said Ozil’s second dummy was “one of the greatest things I have seen” on his personal Twitter account.

Morgan will be now hoping Arsene Wenger’s side can beat bitter rivals Tottenham on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates.

The Gunners are three points ahead of Spurs in the table, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to remain unbeaten and close the gap on their rivals, in what is one of the closest title races in recent seasons.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City top the table, but only goal difference separates the top three after ten games.

In other Arsenal team news, right-back Hector Bellerin was in awe of his teammate on Twitter following the Gunners dramatic Champions League win.
