Tottenham will have been severely disappointed with their exit from the Champions League group stage on Tuesday evening and Arsenal fans have taken great delight from the demise of their rivals.
Spurs qualified for the elite competition for the first time in five years after their third place finish last season.
However, the group stage has yielded just one win, one draw and three losses from their five fixtures and they cannot now finish higher than third place.
They will host CSKA Moscow at Wembley in December and the Russian outfit are currently propping up the group with three points.
Spurs will know that a win or a draw will be enough to see them through to the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Pochettino may now turn his attentions to the league campaign with Tottenham in fifth place and one point behind Arsenal in fourth.
