Outspoken celebrity Piers Morgan has revealed on Twitter that he thinks Philippe Coutinho is one of the top five players in the Premier League.
The Arsenal fan has named the Liverpool midfielder alongside Sergio Aguero, Mesut Ozil, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba as the league’s standout players.
Coutinho has made four appearances already this season and is a crucial member of Jurgen Klopp’s side
Morgan responded on his Twitter account to a question of who the best five players were in the league and named Liverpool’s Brazilian midfielder.

Surprisingly Morgan did not name either Riyad Mahrez or Eden Hazard as the league’s best players, despite the pair receiving the PFA Player of the Year awards in the last two seasons.
He did include Coutinho and he scored a brace on the opening day of the season against Arsenal as Liverpool ran out 4-3 winners at the Emirates.
His team-mates Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino have all started the new season in good form and have made the Merseyside club a serious attacking threat.
Coutinho, the club’s reigning Player of the Year, was the star man for Liverpool last season.
The attacker has now made 149 appearances since he moved to Anfield in 2013, scoring 30 goals and supplying 28 assists in the process.
In other Liverpool news, the club’s supporters reacted on Twitter to Mario Balotelli scoring on his Nice debut.
