Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has vented towards manager Arsene Wenger once more, claiming that it’s “laughable” to suggest the team has grown under the manager.
The north London giants fell to a heavy 5-1 defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening in Germany after going it at 1-1 at half time.
Goals from each of Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Mueller and a Thiago Alcantara double were enough to cancel out an Alexis Sanchez goal.
The defeat only adds further disdain for Arsenal, who have been knocked out at the round of 16 stage in the Champions League in the last six seasons to go alongside their run of 13 years without a Premier League title.
Now, Morgan, who has been very openly criticial about Arsenal in the past shared on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday that he believes that the side has severly decreased under Wenger.
It's laughable to say Wenger has 'grown' Arsenal in the past 12yrs. We've got a nice fancy stadium but a team half as good as it was. #afc

Wenger has entered his 21st year with Arsenal after making the switch to north London in 1996.
He has won the Premier League three times alongisde six FA Cup trophies and has also kept the Gunners in the top four when the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have all fallen out.
However, with his contract now set to expire at the end of the season many are hoping that it’s his last.
In other Arsenal news, Stan Collymore delivered this damning verdict following the Gunners’ defeat.
